UNBECOMING
The Day Retreat,
Sunday, 11 October 2026
Ham Green House, Bristol
There is who you have needed to be.
There is whatever comes next
Somewhere between the two is who you are now.
This is the kind of day that doesn’t end when you leave.
Something you have learned to live with no longer feels true
And somewhere something shifts from I know to I choose.
This October, The Unbecoming Journey comes to life in Bristol, inside a Georgian mansion set within four acres of beautiful gardens and surrounding countryside.
This is for the woman who has reached the point where knowing is no longer enough.
She may have known for a while that something in her life has changed. That what she has accepted, postponed or made peace with is asking to be met differently.
But knowing is one thing.
Choosing is another.
Unbecoming is for the moment between the two.
The 5R’s are the Journey
What you see changes what you choose.
Recognise
Something has to change.
Release
I cannot keep carrying this.
Reconnect
I know more than I have allowed myself to trust.
Reclaim
I am ready to choose what is mine.
Return
I begin living from that truth.
The Experience
The house holds you. The views invite space. The conversations go where ordinary conversation rarely does.
This is a sequence of moments, carefully curated so the work is not simply understood, but experienced.
Some of what unfolds will happen in conversation, some through sound, movement and creative expression, and some in the quieter space where nothing is being asked of you at all.
There is room to sit alone with a thought that has shifted, and moments with other women where being witnessed changes the way you hear yourself.
There is nourishment throughout the day, thoughtfully prepared and generously served.
And in the space between, you make room for more of who you are.
And then you return.
The day ends. The knowing does not.
Now you know what you know.
What you have been accepting is a choice. What you have been putting off is yours to decide. What you want has a place in the life you are creating.
And when you return, you choose from who you are now.

Founder, Dream Catcher Global.
Creator of The Unbecoming Journey.
A day like this is only as powerful as the way it is held.
I have spent years mentoring women, creating transformational experiences, facilitating workshops and retreats, and bringing this work into the world through speaking and writing.
But the way I work has been shaped by far more than the work itself. Travel has taken me to more than 90 countries, into different cultures, different homes and very different ideas about what a woman’s life should look like.
Along the way, a Ghanaian chief in the Ashanti region gifted me the name Akua, which means helper and leader. Today, I can see how closely that name reflects what has always been.
Through all of it, I have remained endlessly curious about women: who we become, what we learn to carry, what we stop questioning, and what happens when we finally ask ourselves what we want.
The more women I have met, the less interested I have become in telling any woman who she should be. I would much rather listen closely enough for her to hear herself.
The Unbecoming Journey is where all of that comes together.
When a woman meets what is true for her, every choice she makes from that moment finally belongs to her.
